Although we hardly ever see Starlings in Plaiaundi, they are overwintering birds in Spain and we can usually watch them when its plumage is still spotted. In spring they migrate to the north of Europe and loose almost every spots. Its plumage becomes glossy black with green and purple sheen.
In Spain, Spotless Starlings are more common the whole year, but not in Plaiaundi. Here we usually watch folks of Starlings and Spotless Starlings during their migration.
I could take photographs of a Starling in a laurel tree today at dusk. I saw only three Starlings but there were probably much more of them somewhere all around the park. I would say that spring is comming.
